I want to see this movie so bad I can hardly stand it. I'm not sure why other than because it has the love of my life (Adam Brody) in it. Along with Josh Duhamel, Dianna Agron and a number of other commendable names including Anna Paquin and Katie Holmes.

I haven't even read the book, but I want to. Badly. However, it's out of stock at B&N and I don't want to read it badly enough to order it. I'll just wait for it to show up in the store. Anyway, it looks wonderful.

Vintage! Numero Dos

Well, I guess it's Vintage Wednesday again! Time for installment #2 of my old MySpace blogs. This week's piece holds no significant meaning. I was supposed to be writing a paper for my poetry class, but was suffering from writer's block! The title is in reference to something the professor said in class one day. Also, I'm going to look and see if I can find the paper I was supposed to be writing when I wrote this. Pretty sure it was an A. ;)


P.S. I like to play with "voice" and "style," and at this particular time, for some reason, I did everything with lowercase letters. Sometimes I still do. That said, I'm going to leave this entry lowercase. These pieces spoke to me for some reason or another and typing them in no-caps was my way of making them my own. Or maybe I'm full of crap and I'm just too lazy to sort through this and add capitals where they need to be. Your call. :)

Today is the first day of school for four of my younger brothers and my baby sister. Seth and Kell are seniors, Jared is a freshman, Hunter is a 6th grader and Jada is starting Pre-K. I'm thankful that Jake is only 2 and still too young for school. :(

I am a writer. However, the closest thing I've ever had to a blog is the little feature included when you sign up for MySpace. Helloooo nostalgia! When I was younger, I kept a journal and wrote down every little thing that meandered through my mind.


It's time to start doing that again.
I'm getting older. I'm two weeks away from beginning my last semester of college and becoming "a big kid," so I obviously have more stress in my life than I did previously. Writing has always been a therapeutic outlet and I intend to use this in that way.
