Earlier, I posted about the positive changes I've been making in my life concerning fitness. Well, something that goes hand-in-hand with fitness, is good health. During my six week boot camp, I discovered something I think has changed my  life forever.

Today is December 18, 2011. Exactly one year after my college graduation.


A lot has changed in the last year.

Lately...

First blog post of 2011! And January is almost over. Wow, how's that for ya??

A whole lot has happened in the last 19 days, so here's a (semi) quick rundown of everything going on. Let's move backwards.

Right Now: I'm watching Sixteen Candles in my bed and drinking a glass of wine. The current scene is the one when Farmer Ted follows Andie into the auto shop and tries to serenade her with Beatles songs. Unfortunately, I think I too have been groped in a car while the Beatles played in the background. Sad, sad day.

Where's MY Jake Ryan?

Jock: Jake, come on. She's obviously too young to party seriously.

Jake Ryan: Maybe I'M interested in more than just a party.

Jake Ryan: (Later) I want a serious girlfriend. Someone to love that'll love me back.

RELEVANT Magazine's What To Know When You're 25(ish)

Right now I'm watching Everyday Italian. That Giada sure knows her stuff. Does it mean I'm getting old(er) when I choose to watch HGTV, Food Network, the Cooking Channel or any number of the cake/cupcake shows on TLC? :)

By the way, right now she's making a care package for her niece who's away at college and, man, what I would give for Giada DiLaurentis to put together a care package for ME! Best. Aunt. Ever.

Anyway, on the subject of getting older... It still hasn't sunk in to me that I won't be going back to school in a couple of weeks when my friends do. :(
