Looking Forward...

...To a new year.

Today is December 18, 2011. Exactly one year after my college graduation.

A lot has changed in the last year.

If Ever There Was A Sign, I Got One Yesterday

Has God ever spoke directly to you? Well, He did to me yesterday and there was no confusion in what He was trying to say to me.

A Christmas Miracle!

"Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God's peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus." -- Philippians 4:6-7 (NLT)

The Best Potatoes Ever!

These are some of the greatest potatoes I've ever had! I've made them two years in a row for our office pot luck Thanksgiving and they've been a hit both times. They're so easy; try them out!

Honestly, I have no idea what to call them. Creamy diced potatoes? Cheesy diced potatoes? I don't know! Make up your own name!

Pumpkin Spice Cake Cookies!

I love the holidays! I truly, truly do. :) While I am in a constant state of frenzy due to school, impending graduation and possible unemployment, I only need to remind myself that Thanksgiving is a mere two and a half weeks away. *Sigh* I can breathe easy once again.

There's something about the holidays that makes me want to cook, even though I am no good! Honestly though, I am really looking forward to this year's office Thanksgiving so I can make my mom's awesome potatoes and these wonderful cookies I tried out last night.

Tuesday

I really don't know what to say other than Labor Day weekend was the most eventful of weekends I've experienced in 2010. I consumed alcoholic beverages on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. That probably wasn't a good idea and I'm going to be paying for it in the gym this week, but I had never done that before so I figured I'd give irresponsibility a shot.
