Right now I'm watching Everyday Italian. That Giada sure knows her stuff. Does it mean I'm getting old(er) when I choose to watch HGTV, Food Network, the Cooking Channel or any number of the cake/cupcake shows on TLC? :)
By the way, right now she's making a care package for her niece who's away at college and, man, what I would give for Giada DiLaurentis to put together a care package for ME! Best. Aunt. Ever.
Anyway, on the subject of getting older... It still hasn't sunk in to me that I won't be going back to school in a couple of weeks when my friends do. :(

Pumpkin Spice Cake Cookies!
I love the holidays! I truly, truly do. :) While I am in a constant state of frenzy due to school, impending graduation and possible unemployment, I only need to remind myself that Thanksgiving is a mere two and a half weeks away. *Sigh* I can breathe easy once again.
There's something about the holidays that makes me want to cook, even though I am no good! Honestly though, I am really looking forward to this year's office Thanksgiving so I can make my mom's awesome potatoes and these wonderful cookies I tried out last night.

Seed: Time Capsule of Life by Pastor Carl Toti
Every week, I get "Pastor Carl's Weekly Encouragement" sent to my e-mail. Carl is the pastor at Trinity Church in Lubbock and I really enjoy his sermons. His food for thought this week is about the power of a seed. You know, "the faith of a mustard seed" and such. Here it is:

It's Ok To Be Single!
I love me some Taylor Swift! I also love reading the Glamour.com blogs everyday. Erin Meanley, writer for Smitten is one of my faves. She writes some pretty funny and insightful stuff.
Today she wrote about Taylor Swift and how it's just fine to be single every now and then. While I do my share of complaining, I totally agree!
Here it is, I recommend reading it!
